Advocate (4 - 5 years) - Tax
Description: Candidates must possess at least 4-5 years of tax experience, and should possess a strong knowledge of direct and indirect taxes, and transfer pricing norms. The candidate will be expected to work closely with corporate lawyers from the outset in structuring and negotiating complex transactions to ensure tax efficiencies and minimize tax risks for the firm’s clients. The experience must include ability to advise on the tax aspects of structuring mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures, as well as de-mergers, spin-offs and other divestitures, perform tax due diligences to uncover tax liabilities and risks in transactions as well as provide tax advice in connection with IPOs and other securities-related transactions. Outstanding writing and analytical skills are crucial. |

Advocate (7 + years) - Intellectual Property Rights
Description: Candidates must possess 7 + years of experience and should have the ability to engage in trademark prosecution including domain name disputes. The experience must include the ability to review trademark search reports and provide opinions, evaluate IP issues involved in licensing, copyright (including copyright of software), design, trade secrets, G.I.s as well as defending counterfeiting and enforcement actions generally. Candidates must also be experienced in drafting license and assignment agreements as well as evaluating implications of global IP portfolios. |

Description: Candidates must possess at least 3 years professional experience working in a corporate firm. The experience must involve an ability to work independently, and to deal directly with clients. Resumes should clearly describe transactional experience, including the ability to conduct due diligences and demonstrate strong knowledge of company law. Sound knowledge of contract law is necessary. Strong communication skill and excellent writing ability is a pre-requisite. |
