          Naresh S. Mathur has more than 28 years experience of original civil and companies jurisdiction at the Delhi High Court and other High Courts in India and of the appellate and writ jurisdiction of the Supreme Court of India. He possesses a general litigation and corporate background. He trained at the International Development Law Institute, an Institute established by a Treaty between USA, UK, Italy, Germany and France at Rome in Contract negotiations, Contract Drafting, Licensing Agreement and Collaborations.

          His work experience includes advising clients in diverse industries. Some of his recent representations include advising representing a European-Japanese-consortium in Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. He has been involved in conducting due diligence exercises on behalf of a Japanese IT/Telecom major and submitted related reports and advised on structuring of the transaction for the purposes of the acquisition of an Indian company. In infrastructure, he has experience in collaborations in the field of IT and cement manufacturing with Indian companies. He has also advised on investment and contractual arrangements in an incubator B2B portal. As counsel for a major Italian auto manufacturer he has led negotiations with an Indian conglomerate based in UK for collaboration in the field of heavy traffic vehicle. He has also been engaged in negotiations and drafting of collaboration contracts and related documents for the manufacture of a highly successful project for the manufacturing of light cargo vehicle at Pune, Maharashtra.

            In the process Naresh has worked in tandem with Arthur Andersen, PWC, KPMG.

          He also conducted ICC and ICA arbitrations for Chinese and continental corporations arising out of breach of contract of sale of goods contracts, works contracts, sale and supply contracts etc. in diverse industries such as chemicals and pharmaceuticals, automobiles, telecommunications.

          Naresh has, at different times, been engaged in advising in defence and related contracts for the supply of defence related equipment and companies during negotiations.
