Aravindan was enrolled as an Advocate in the year 2008 after completing his LL.B from Symbiosis Law College, Pune. He has so far worked on banking, commercial and company laws, arbitration, intellectual property and civil laws.
Since his enrollment with the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu, Aravindan started working with a leading litigating law firm in Chennai specializing in banking, corporate, intellectual property rights, service matters, commercial law, documentation and civil law where he primarily appeared for various banks and other financial institutions. He has worked on company related assignments, including shareholders disputes, drafting and documentation of various agreements including shareholders agreements, joint venture agreements, and management agreements and advising clients on the same. He has worked on infringement of trademarks related matters and filing of trademarks with the Registry.
He has appeared and represented clients on both Appellate and Original side of Madras High Court, Debt Recovery Tribunal, Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal, Labour Courts, Family Courts, Micro Small Medium Enterprises Facilitation Council, Labour Commissioners in Chennai region, Central Administrative Tribunal and represented clients by filing appeal under Air Act and Water Act before the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board.
At the Chennai branch of PSA, he handles litigation and assists senior advocates in various courts and represents before various forum on behalf of PSA. He advises clients on Mergers & Acquisitions, corporate and other commercial matters. He drafts and reviews petitions, arguments, agreements and other court or company related documents.
Aravindan regularly contributes to the firm’s newsletters, legal alerts, bulletins and in-house presentations.
