Rohan was enrolled as an Advocate in the year 2006. He, subsequently, completed his LL.M. in “International Commercial Law” from the University of Westminster, London in 2007–2008 and submitted a dissertation titled
“Heads I Win: Tails You Lose – The Approach of Western Countries towards Patenting of Life Saving Drugs.” He also holds a post-graduate diploma in “Cyber Laws” from Amity Law School, New Delhi.
Rohan was actively involved in litigation and practices at the Supreme Court of India, High Court of Delhi and various legal forums viz., national, state and district level Consumer Dispute Redressal Forums and MRTP Commission. As part of a team, he also assisted both advocates and
Senior Advocates in carrying out legal research and during court appearances. His areas of practice have been intellectual property rights, family law, labor law, criminal law and issues relating to property. Rohan has also argued cases in different forums.
He has dealt with various labor issues at both central and state level involving extensive legal research on statutory compliance, industrial dispute and employee benefits, claims and compensation. He advises clients on specific issues and queries relating to arbitration, litigation, commercial laws, offence of dishonor of cheques, employment laws and foreign direct investment related issues. He is also involved in compliance issues relating to law of contract, competition law, consumer protection as well as law of torts.
Rohan assists the senior lawyers at PSA in a host of civil and commercial matters.
He regularly contributes to the firm’s newsletters, bulletins and in-house presentations.
